What is it?

The Valley 4th RUN is home to the Slip 'n Slide Finish Line and the only chip timed race in the Shenandoah Valley that lets you pick your distance (1.5 mile, 5K, or 10K) and your charity. Plus, it's a great opportunity to run/walk/roll through the streets of downtown Harrisonburg on the greatest holiday of the year.

We are thrilled to partner with Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance to kick off the Valley Fourth Celebration! The "Details" button above has a ton more great info to get you ready to RUN.

Important Dates:
Sign up by Monday, June 24th to receive a tshirt with registration
Sign up by Tuesday, July 2nd at 12pm to get the pre-registration price
Walkups are welcome on July 3rd at a $10 price increase
No race day packet pickup

Who is it for?

The Valley 4th RUN is built for YOU!  We believe anyone can make strides towards a healthy lifestyle.  Whether you're an avid runner/walker/roller or a first-timer, you are welcome. We encourage you to participate at one distance this year and strive for a longer distance next year.

With local charities to choose and the option to run/walk/roll a 1.5 miler, 5K, or 10K, there's something for everyone. Wheelchair racers and strollers are welcomed and encouraged. Click here to see photos from last year's RUN.
