This is what it's all about. We're collecting canned foods and non-perishables for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank from all event participants. This is not an optional part of the event. In fact, it's probably most important to us. So, how do you contribute?
- Each participant is asked to bring one canned good or non-perishable to packet pickup (Wednesday, November 25th from 12pm-7pm). More than one is welcomed and encouraged. See below for the most needed items.
- VA Momentum will consolidate all of the items and bring them to the food bank on Thanksgiving.
In addition to the food collection, a cash portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. For every dollar we give, they provide four meals to the hungry.
